Of course, words have meaning. If words didn’t have meaning you wouldn’t offer praise and pray to the one who created you. Of course, words have meaning if they didn’t people of African descent in America wouldn’t get so upset when their called less than what’s good. Words have meaning which is why we learn to read and put such a heavy emphasis on reading comprehension or at least you should.
Words have meaning, so you’ll hear people say choose your words wisely, because words have meaning. Your words are a direct reflection of your conscious and subconscious thoughts, inevitably leading to your actions. It’s wise to think and speak with wisdom and when you have no, wisdom seek it out by all means.
Since, words have meanings and your words or a direct reflection of your conscious and subconscious thoughts that inevitably lead to your actions, shouldn’t you build a vocabulary that’s empowering? Shouldn’t you use words that give you hope, grow your imagination and have you to think big, beautiful, innovative thoughts?
You do have a supreme choice in the matter. After all it isn’t as though anyone is restricting you from going to the library, book store or accessing blogs, websites and ebooks that will empower your imagination and vocabulary.
Some people will say they’re a realist and that’s why they don’t speak more definitively about a condition being positive or occurring. When you speak in those terms you have identified how far your ladder of vision, faith and belief stretch at that moment in time. You may move your ladder of vision, faith and belief in an upward way by increasing the number of positive words your think and speak everyday. Here’s how you begin.
- Read only motivating and positive blogs, books and magazines.
- Once a day or week write down a list of positive, motivating and encouraging words and phrases.
- Think before you speak and before you speak think once again.
- Consider the positive inverse action when having self-thoughts and conversation with others.
- Always ask the question how may this be done. Never focus on how it may not be achieved.
- Whenever you get to a negative thought ask yourself what is the positive thought to this.
- Regularly read, listen and quote motivational messages, since words have meaning.
Names are words and words have meaning. If words didn’t have meaning slave masters wouldn’t have stripped Africans of their rightful names worthy of praise when they brought them to America.
Will you give your child a name that sounds cute or one with meaning? Some people have decided it’s best to give their child a more European sounding name because it will make it easier for their child to get a job. A man holds the highest publicly elected office in American, yet his name isn’t of European descent -President Barack Obama.
Why not give your child a name with meaning and instill in them they’re truly special. This isn’t to say your name isn’t a good name or that one’s name will make the character of the person, but since names or words and words have meaning why not give your child a name with meaning of power, love, influence, courage, service to others…
Words have meaning.
You’ll find it increasingly difficult to think, speak and act negative and full of pessimism as you start to think and speak with a wider vocabulary of positive, motivating and encouraging words.
