So glad you emailed me this post Jawar. As always, your thoughts are kind and beautiful. I am having a huge down time in my life and this was helpful. The one I have most trouble with is “not blaming others.” I am being treated badly by many others right now when I need them and they are keeping secrets from me that are agitating me. People can be cruel.

Deb, thank you for taking the time to read and follow up with a comment.

It has been my experience that people treat us much how the way they see themselves in us. More importantly people continue to treat us how we allow them to treat us. There are various things you may do to reverse having people treat you less than you deserve. These are in no, particular order and are meant to be dynamic, so add and subtract until you get to a point that you get what you deserve more often than not.

      1) Think of yourself as royalty no, matter your current financial position.
      2) Think of yourself as one in a million because you literally are as no to fingerprints are alike. :-)
      3) Visualize yourself in the possession of being the best you at all times.
      4) Look in the mirror and thank the Most High for all that’s good in your life.
      5) Write down in itemized format why you are a wonderful person.
      6) Continue to tell yourself that your reality is your doing and when you want to change you will change it.
      7) Remind yourself that giving other people control over your emotions and thoughts means they control you and this isn’t happening.
      8) SECRETS- Exercise your right to remain silent and allow others to wonder what you are thinking.
      9) Find the good in people even when it is difficult. Do not see cruelty in others.
      10) If someone is treating you cruel it normally is because they are having a bad experience with life.
